L. Armeekorps (L. Army Corps) The L. Armeekorps was formed, in October 3.9^0 in Wehrkreis XIII, Kronstadt areas. From October 19^1 to January 19^U it took Wurzburg. In March 19^1 it was transferred to Sibiu, Rumania, part in position defense along the Leningrad and Oranienbaum to participate in the Balkan campaign. At the end of May the fronts. By late autumn of 19UH the Corps had retreated to COIPS was moved to Cottbus for rehabilitation. In June 19^1 Kurland, East Prussia, via the Gatchina, Luga, Pskov, Ostrov, it was transferred to Gusev, East Prussia, in preparation for Riga, Mitau, and Shaulyai areas.
