District 3330 Club 56414 145/2 Rat-u-Thit 200 Pee Rd., Patong Beach sub-district, Kathu district, Phuket Province, 83150 THAILAND Proposed Project Details and Objectives: The Muang Phuket School is a Thai Public School and with minimum budget, painting always seems to be the last thing or never happens. The OrBaTor (local elected government official) Mr. Samran Jindapol (Mobile Phone: 089-724 7187), through his primary contact at the school, Mr. Montree (Mobile Phone: 086-739 7310), would like to have the school gymnasium painted. The Gym is approximately 80’x 120’. They want to paint the four walls; the two longest walls are constructed of cement columns with steel fence between the columns. The lower part of the wall he wants painted a medium blue color and the upper columns to about 10 foot height is to be painted white. The galvanized fence is to be painted a good rust proof gray color. The US Ronald Regan started this large painting job and now we believe that with one more COMSERV from the USS Hoper, this job can be completed. Here are some photos of this work: The end walls of the gym also need painting and at one end is a stage, from the photo next page you can see the stage center is painted light green and they want this now painted light blue with white on both ends above the stage. And the other side wall has large entrance doors, so this shall be painted with the medium Blue color skirt and the rest up to 10 feet white. Photos following page. The cement columns and beams are to be painted same white as they are now. th AdditionalT Information: The Thai public schools are out for there summer break and return May 15P .P COMREL volunteers will get a free Thai lunch made by the school staff and children’s parents. If the USS Hopper COMREL coordinators can arraing to bring some water and coolers for your volunteers during the work period. Sun screen is also needed for those painting outdoors.
