2014 USA Basketballll Developmentall Natiional Team June 2014 - Voll. 8 IINTRO: USA Basketballll Men’s Devellopmentall Natiionall Team • In an effort to field strong, experienced teams and to help mentor young players, USA Basketball founded the Developmental National Team program in 2009. • The DNT encompasses all USA Basketball men’s high-school-age teams and training camps, including teams competing in the FIBA Americas U16 Championship, the FIBA ##UUSSAABBMMDDNNTT U17 World Championship, the FIBA Americas U18 Championship, the Nike IINSIIDE: Hoop Summit and 3x3 U18 national teams. R o a d M a p & C a l e n d a r 1 1 1 UUSSAA VViiccttoorriioouuss IInn 22001144 NNiikkee HHoooopp SSuummmmiitt • With the game tied at 61-all after three quarters, the USA outscored the World Team 23-11 in the last 10 minutes to secure an 84-73 win on April 12 in Portland, Oregon. • Justise Winslow, led with 16 points off the bench and six rebounds, Kelly Oubre scored 14 points, as did Jahlil Okafor, who added 10 rebounds to finish with a double-double. • Tyus Jones dished out a game-high six assists and scored 10 of his 13 points in the fourth quarter to help propel the USA to a win.
