CUBA MAY 2018 ITINERARY PROJCT: Cuba 201805 DATE: May 25 – May 29, 2018 COST ESTIMATE: $630 all inclusive On May 25 we will depart MIAMI, FLORIDA (MIA) airport for VARADERO, CUBA (VRA) on a 45 minute flight. We will spend (1) overnight in Varadero and 3 nights in Havana. We then depart from Havana, returning to Miami on May 29. In Veradero will be picked up at the airport by a hired driver and check-in at our hotel. We will drive to the hills of Matanzas in the Limonar barrio and complete (2) water filter projects. After we finish our work we will have time to relax and overnight in Varadero. The next day we will get organized in morning, have breakfast and then take a 3 hour ride to Havana by hired bus. In Havana we will check into our hotel for 3 nights. In Havana, we will work on (2) water projects in the Luyacon barrio, test water at a few sites and then enjoy the afternoon visiting some cultural sites in and around Havana. We will complete 4 water projects, distribute replacement water filter cartridges and test water. In the evening we will have time to relax, go out for dinner and explore the area around our hotel.
