DRESS CODE The primary responsibility for the personal appearance of students rests with the parents. Proper dress contributes to proper behavior. Therefore, we appreciate your cooperation in this matter. Jupiter Elementary has a uniform dress code. Students are requested to wear collared polo shirt it may display the school logo, but the logo is not mandatory. Students may also wear any JES shirts from the current or past years. Navy blue, black, brown, white or khaki pants, jeans, shorts or skirts will complete the outfits. Jeans cannot be ripped or torn. Solid color leggings may only be worn underneath skirts, skorts, or shorts. If wearing sweatshirts on cooler days, sweatshirts must also be of the same color choices. Footwear should be of sturdy quality with a closed back. Closed shoes and sneakers are preferred. Flip-flops, platform shoes, boots, dangling earrings and excessive jewelry are not allowed due to safety issues. PE CLASSES Please keep this in mind as you will need to purchase sneakers along with your back to school supplies over the summer. CÓDIGO DE VESTIR La mayor responsabilidad en la apariencia personal de los alumnos descansa en los padres. Vestimenta apropiada contribuye a un comportamiento apropiado. Por lo tanto, apreciamos su colaboración en este respecto. Jupiter Elementary tiene un código de vestimenta uniforme.
