21/07/2019 Tanzanian and Namibians arrested for rhino poaching - Crime - Namibian Sun Tanzanian and Namibians arrested for rhino poaching 01 September 2015 | Crime N amibian Sun has reliably learned that the Swapo Politburo held a lengthy meeting yesterday afternoon after being served with founding affidavits by the so-called Swapo Four. Elijah Ngurare, Job Amupanda, George Kambala and Dimbulukeni Nauyoma, who were expelled from Swapo last month, are challenging the move in the High Court. According to unnamed sources, the option of an out-of-court settlement was considered at the meeting. Lawyer Norman Tjombe earlier indicated that the four, especially Ngurare, have a solid case. Constitutional expert Nico Horn commented that the party would find other ways to get rid of the four, should the court rule in (https://d3rp5jatom3eyn.cloudfront.net/asse their favour. No further information could be obtained and neither are the details of the affidavits known. The four were kicked out of the party following their involvement with, and support of, the Affirmative Repositioning movement which has been driving a demand for affordable residential plots. Ngurare, Amupanda, Kambala and Nauyoma cried foul at the manner in which they were expelled. They claimed the party did not follow the correct disciplinary procedures. Swapo Secretary-General Nangolo Mbumba earlier told Namibian Sun that he would only respond once he has been served with court papers. He could not be reached for comment yesterday.
