Covid-19 must never become an impediment for a 100% adherence to the provisions of the Constitution. 2. The October 21, 2021 election must continue as planned. 3. The IEC must take advantage of technology and deliver on a corrupt-free and fair election project. 4. The IEC must find independent and credible ways of enabling the technology illiterate members of the public, to cast their votes without super-spreading Covid-19. 5. Political parties which are currently in parliament, provincial legislatures and municipalities are conflicted concerning whether or not to postpone elections. Their general preferences would be to postpone the election for obvious reasons. Therefore, any proposal from their sides, which points to the suspension or postponement of the elections, must be disregarded. They have generally been unable to provide a credible governance tenure to society. Their administration and terms of offices have been characterised by world-class and unprecedented corruption records, for which they were directly and indirectly involved. 6. The state of our communities cannot survive a-day more under the current parliamentarians and political leaders. Change must be facilitated speedily. The October 27 election is the only urgent and light-giving opportunity for South Africans to claim back their communities and nation. Any postponement would entirely be an unjust and unfair decision. 7. We also are of the view that you must never allow your good name and professional track- record to be muddied by being used as a legal confirmation of malicious and ill-conceived intends by those in authority to postpone the election so that their self-interest gardens can continue to be tended.
