Ingestion in one documented case of 50 g by an adult woman caused respiratory distress, methemoglobinemia, metabolic acidosis and CNS symptoms. INHALATION: IF INHALED: Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Call a Poison Center or seek medical attention if you feel unwell. SKIN CONTACT: IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water. If skin irritation or rash occurs, get medical advice/attention. Take off contaminated clothing and wash before re-use.
