It is located one-half mile to the east toward Anadarko (right turn out of the driveway, and just up on the right). Oakridge serves meals daily in summer, as well as during many weekends throughout the year. For the many activity and meals options, inquire with our host. WICHITA MOUNTAIN WILDLIFE REFUGE A national refuge 45 minutes away from The Ridge toward Lawton, featuring drive through touring and a Visitors Center. MEDICINE PARK A quaint, cobblestone village built in the 1920’s at the edge of the wildlife refuge, featuring a wading river, public swimming and interesting restaurants. Located 45 minutes from The Ridge, near the Wichita Mountains. CHICKASHA LIGHTS (seasonal) One of the most enjoyable Christmas light tours in Oklahoma that can be walked, driven, or taken by horse-drawn carriage. Camel riding, amusement rides and refreshments available. ANADARKO INDIAN MUSEUMS Anadarko has some Indian museums in the area. Please contact them directly for their operating hours.
