And in his fi rst year, the main ingredient he provided was that of LSU 14-16 Ole Miss 6-2 consistency. Whether there was a national TV camera in his face or he was one-on-one in Miss State 7-7 Missouri 1-0 his offi ce with a player, Summitt’s message was always the same. He preached execution.
