Meredith must be proud and congratulate Bill and Pam Crow who happened to be first on the scene of a road accident in Slate Quarry Road on Thursday 20th October. A vehicle hit a tree and had just caught alight when Bill and Pam, returning from a trip away, arrived on the scene. Without thought for their own safety they were able to save the man, who was trapped in the vehicle, and Bill and Pam Crow enjoying their lovely garden following their recent great act of bravery!! pull him to safety before the fire spread through the vehicle, and the roadside. Brisbane Rangers Wild Flower Our local policeman Greg Kitchen, has nominated Bill and Pam for a Bravery Award so we will await that result, and Show Success wish them well. The Brisbane Ranges National Park was truly in its spectacular form, showing off its colourful display of wildflowers for those that attended the Friends of Brisbane Ranges biennial Wildflower Show. in this issue….
