Austin's largest and longest running FREE concert series returns to Zilker Park for a season that includes headlining performances from Saints of Valory, Heartless Bastards, Grupo Fantasma, Robert Ellis, and more . In addition to providing access to great music in a unique, outdoor setting, KGSR is once again proud to offer patrons food and non-alcoholic beverages from such Austin staples as Amy’s Ice Creams, Freebirds World Burrito, Bananarchy, Southside Flying Pizza, and Daily Juice to name a few. As always, blankets, lawn chairs, water, dogs on leashes, and children are all welcome. One major change of note is that all performance start times are moving to 8pm. Introduced at the Arboretum in the early 90’s as a low-key affair drawing crowds in the hundreds, KGSR has grown Blues on the Green into a signature, summer event, with attendance averaging around 8,000 per night. It is consistently ranked as a top annual Austin entertainment event and has become a staple of the Austin lifestyle. KGSR’s Blues on the Green is driven by South Texas Ford Dealers and brought to you in part by Austin Parks and Recreation Department, Seton Healthcare Family, Park University, and Deep Eddy Vodka.
