This project was entitled by Survey of the import and the environmentally sound management of electronic wastes in Asia-Pacific Region , approved by OEWGII, and funded by the Basel Convention Trust Fund with co-funding from Environment Canada. In addition, this project is contracted as a revision to the project document on new partnership with local authorities for the environmentally sound management of hazardous and other wastes in urban areas which was approved by OEWGI.
