CROATIA AUGUST 29 – September 5, 2020 ASA FLOTILLA PROGRAM

CROATIA AUGUST 29 – September 5, 2020 ASA FLOTILLA PROGRAM Croatia is where it all began eleven years ago. We discovered this already popular with the Europeans sailing destination, way before any American sailors started chartering there. The Dalmatian coastal area of Croatia counts hundreds of islands. The sailing is great, the waters are crystal clear, the scenery is beyond stunning, the local Mediterranean food is delicious, culture and history await the sailor in every port. You just cannot go wrong. Flotilla Sailing in Croatia is the Best! From our base near Split to the islands of Central Dalmatian Islands of Solta, Vis, Hvar and Brac with stops in picturesque ports and secluded anchorages. Discover the old fishing ports of Vis and Komiza on Vis Island which was the setting of the “Greek Island” in Mama Mia II. Feel James Bond-like when you explore abandoned Cold War top secret military installations. Enjoy a fabulous typical Dalmatian banquet in a vineyard in the mountains. Hike to the Spanjola Fortress overlooking the historic city of Hvar with its distinct Venetian influence and dock overnight in one of Europe’s oldest cities, Stari Grad. Sail to the island of Brac and spend the night in the beautiful fishing port of Milna. Spectacular Sunset over Vis Harbor These trips will be on monohulls and catamarans. The cost per person is $1,650.00 on a monohull and $1,850.00 on a catamaran and includes the flotilla fee, a welcome cocktail on the Saturday before the departure and a welcome souvenir, courtesy of Med Sailing Adventures. Like with all our trips, we offer an exciting variety of culture, history and gastronomy and, in Croatia, you will be spoiled. For further details and conditions of this unforgettable trip, email us at [email protected] or call (941) 258-8890. Your flotilla guides, Capt. Jean and “Admiral” Mila De Keyser have been organizing ASA endorsed flotillas for the last eleven years. They know the sailing areas and local attractions.
