Jon DiSalvatore (born March 30, 1981 in Bangor, Maine and raised in South Windsor, Connecticut) is a professional ice hockey player currently with the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League. In 2008-2009, he played for the Lowell Devils of the American Hockey League. After spending the 2003–04 season at the Sharks' affiliate, the Cleveland Barons, DiSalvatore was signed by the St. Louis Blues as a free agent on June 30, 2004. He was a key member of the Blues respective AHL affiliate. He played five games during the 2005–06 seasons for the Blues. On July 9, 2007, DiSalvatore was signed as a free agent by the Phoenix Coyotes. On July 16, 2009 DiSalvatore was signed along with Duncan Milroy to two-way contracts with the Minnesota Wild. DiSalvatore will start with the AHL's Houston Aeros if he does not make the team out of training camp.[1] DiSalvatore grew up in South Windsor, Connecticut, an Honor Roll student and played high school hockey there, with his good friend, Dennis Coughlin. Coughlin now works for the Hartford Wolfpack. In the summer of 2008, he was signed by the New Jersey Devils and was assigned to affiliate the Lowell Devils.
