SUNDAY, MARCH 29: ARRIVE TEL AVIV ROTHSCHILD 22 HOTEL Arrive Tel Aviv where you are met and transferred to your hotel. Welcome Dinner at Old Man & the Sea in Jaffa Port. (D) MONDAY, MARCH 30: TEL AVIV ROTHSCHILD 22 HOTEL Today explore Old Jaffa including art galleries and an underground archaeological display. Continue to Neve Tsedek, the first Jewish neighborhood outside Jaffa, and home of the Bat Sheva Dance Company. See Tel Aviv’s White City architectural area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, notable for thousands of 1930’s Bauhaus buildings. Spend the rest of the afternoon at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. This evening, dine at Habanot, in a stylish private apartment restaurant in the center of Tel Aviv. (B,D) TUESDAY, MARCH 31: TEL AVIV/HAIFA/TIBERIAS BOUTIQUE KINNERET HOTEL Drive north along the Mediterranean coast to Caesarea, where Paul was imprisoned and appeared before Festus. The Roman amphitheater, built by King Herod, is still in use for frequent concerts. In Haifa, Israel’s third largest city, see the spectacular Baha’i Shrine and Gardens. Continue to Akko, a walled city settled by the Phoenicians, to explore the Crusader Knights’ Halls, Templar Tunnels and more! This evening, gather for dinner at your Tiberias hotel. (B,D) WEDNESDAY, APRIL 1: TIBERIAS BOUTIQUE KINNERET HOTEL Travel back in time as you take a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum, site of the house of Peter and the center of Jesus’ Ministries. Continue to Golan Heights for a geopolitical briefing by retired Colonel Miri Esin at Mt. Bethel and exploration of former Syrian bunkers. Take a well-deserved rest at Katzrin for some winetasting and a winery tour. Dinner is served at a local restaurant. (B,D) THURSDAY, APRIL 2: TIBERIAS/JERUSALEM LEONARDO BOUTIQUE JERUSALEM HOTEL Drive south through the Jordan River Valley to the shores of the Dead Sea. Ascend by cable car to Masada and tour the ancient mountaintop fortress of King Herod where the famous battle between the Zealots and the Romans took place in 73 AD. Continue to the Dead Sea for a swim and a mineral-rich mud experience! Lunch is at a hotel overlooking the Dead Sea. Return to Jerusalem for dinner at Notre Dame Rooftop Restaurant with views of the Old City.
