GOVERNOR Miami, FL 33172-5800 SECRETARY For Immediate Release Contact: Tish Burgher February 3, 2020 (305) 470-5349 [email protected] FDOT to Host Public Information Workshops for Interstate 195 (I-195) Corridor Planning Study from State Road (SR) 933/NW 12 Avenue to SR 907/Alton Road Miami, Fla – The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Six, has scheduled two Public Information Workshops to present the proposed improvements to the I-195 Corridor Planning Study from SR 933/NW 12 Avenue to SR 907/Alton Road in Miami-Dade County. The workshops will be held on: Wednesday, February 12, 2020 Thursday, February 13, 2020 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Presentation begins at 7 p.m. Presentation begins at 6:30 p.m. City of Miami Legion Park Miami Beach Golf Club Multipurpose Room Multipurpose Room 6447 NE 7 Avenue 2301 Alton Road Miami, Florida 33138 Miami Beach, Florida 33140 The workshops will follow an open-house format with a brief presentation. FDOT representatives will be available to discuss the project and answer questions. These workshops are being held to allow interested persons an opportunity to be informed and provide comments on the proposed improvements to I-195 from SR 933/NW 12 Avenue to SR 907/Alton Road. The proposed project consists of improving capacity deficiencies, traffic operations, and multimodal use along the roadway. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability or family status.
