The band will perform at 8:1' p.m. Members of the band include,Dede Pierce, cornet; Billie Pierce, piano; Willie J. Humphrey, clarinet; Jim Robinson, trombone; Cie Frazier, drums, and Allan Jaffe, tuba. The group is from New Orleans, La. They perform music which is derived from early jazz forms that originated in the south. Members of the Jazz Band helped to create New Orleans Jazz, which has evolved into the jazz and blues of today. Tickets are on sale at the Univeristy Center Information Desk and at the Cartwheel downtown. Admission is $2 and $1.50 for adults and $1.50 and $1 for UM students. The program is sponsored by the Program Council of the Associated Students at UM. ###.
