Dear Friends, The Journey of SEWA RURAL is about to complete glorious 4 decades. We very much appreciate the generous support received from you, larger society in general and also the Government during this journey. With your constant love and warmth, activities are progressing and growing very well. Hence there has been substantial increase in the number of employees over the last 5 years. Generally an organisation is as good as its employees. Various efforts towards staff development and staff satisfaction are on regular basis. To keep up the motivational level of employees, legal benefits like fixed 35 leaves, Provident Fund, Gratuity, Accident Policy are in place for many decades. Over and above, they also receive training and opportunities for further study and professional development. Many Staff Welfare Activities like Picnics, Sports Competition, Festival Celebrations, Kalrav activities etc. are organised for staff and their family members including their school going children. Moreover, efforts have been made to provide necessary support for encouraging staff children for pursuing higher education. Efforts are on to build and strengthan family values as well as providing health security after employee gets retired. On the other hand, the under served, poor beneficiaries have been at the centre of all our services and programmes. We are determined to reach out to such rural, poor and vulunarable communities who lack opportunities. Thus it becomes very critical to ensure that the delicate balance between the interest of staff on one hand and that of beneficiaries on the other hand is preserved at every level. The Organisation is very much conscious of this fact and trying its best to ensure equitable balance between the to is largely preserve.
