‘MY FAVORITE WEDDING’ Cast Bios MAGGIE LAWSON (Tess Harper) – Born and raised in Louisville, KY, Maggie Lawson started appearing in local community and dinner theater when she was eight years old. She became a youth journalist for the local FOX station before moving to Los Angeles. Lawson recently completed recurring arcs on the Netflix series “The Ranch” as well as CBS’s “The Great Indoors,” and in 2016 she starred opposite Jane Lynch in the CBS series “Angel From Hell.” Also that year she filmed the Netflix feature Spivak, starring alongside Michael Bacall & Rob Kazinsky. Prior to that she had a season long arc on Chuck Lorre’s “Two and a Half Men,” playing the love interest to both Jon Cryer and Ashton Kutcher. Lawson is well known for her role as Juliet O’Hara on the hit USA series “Psych.” Other television credits include “Back In The Game,” “Justified,” “Crumbs,” “It’s All Relative,” “Inside Schwartz,” “E.R.” “Party of Five” and “Felicity.” Television movie credits include “Killer Hair,” “Hostile Makeover,” “Model Behavior” and “Revenge of the Middle-Aged Woman.” Her film credits include Cheats, Pleasantville, Nice Guys Sleep Alone and Cleaner. Lawson is an animal-lover and the co-founder of The Tiger Frances Foundation, a non-profit organization to end animal abuse and place animals in loving homes. She is especially proud of Love On Paws, a program created by TTFF to bring rescue animals into the classroom, sharing their stories with kids to help foster empathy and compassion, important components in the quest to end abuse. The program is currently partnered with Communities in Schools and School on Wheels. She currently resides in Los Angeles. # # # PAUL GREENE (Michael) – In 2005, Paul Greene’s passion for acting brought him to Los Angeles. After studying in New York at Stella Adler, Uta Hagen’s HB Studios, and Susan Batson’s Black Nexxus, Greene’s commitment to developing his craft continued in Los Angeles at Improv Olympic West and the Actor’s Circle Theater and in work with Nicoli Guzov, Sandy Marshal and Margie Haber. In addition to Greene’s appearance in Sofia Copola’s feature film Somewhere, he has an extensive television resume that includes a broad range of characters. He has been seen in the Hallmark Channel Original Movies “A Wish for Christmas,” “Anything for Love” and “A Perfect Wedding.” He had a recurring role in the fourth season of the network’s popular series “When Calls the Heart,” and will be returning for the show’s fifth season, which was recently announced. He played Tatum O’Neal’s love interest in 42 episodes of Fox’s “Wicked Wicked Games,” and appeared in episodes of “Freddie,” “CSI: NY,” “Shark,” “My Own Worst Enemy,” David E. He was recently featured in, and helped film a documentary, following five riders on motorcycles through the Himalayas from north India to the Tibetan plateau called the “Highest Pass.” He lives in Los Angeles with his son, Oliver. # # # CHRISTINE CHATELAIN (Amber Tilton) – Christine Chatelain recently appeared in three episodes of the critically-acclaimed series “The Man in The High Castle,” and in two episodes of Hallmark Channel’s hit series “When Calls the Heart,” as well as in Hallmark Channel’s original movies “Dater's Handbook” and “Christmas List.” Chatelain co-starred in the Canadian television series “White Collar Poet,” starred as the title character in “Riese,” and was a series regular in “The Collector.” Feature films in which Chatelain has appeared include Dr. Doolittle: Tail to the Chief; Stark Raving Mad, 40 Days and 40 Nights, 3000 Miles to Graceland and Final Destination, among others. She has appeared in the made-for-television movies “Magic Beyond Words: The J.K. Rowling Story,” “Time After Time,” and “Storm Seekers” as well as in episodes of “Supernatural,” “Sanctuary,” “Fear Iself,” “Smallville,” “Psych” and “The L Word,” among others. # # # PETER BENSON (Jack) – Canadian actor Peter Benson boasts an extensive resume of work on both sides of the border. Benson is instantly recognizable to Hallmark Channel viewers, who will know him from his roles in the Hallmark Channel original movies “Walking The Dog,” “Christmas List,” “The Mystery Cruise,” "A Bride for Christmas" and “Nobody’s Fool,” as well as his recurring role as Detective Arthur Smith in Hallmark Movies & Mysteries “Aurora Teagarden Mystery” movies. Benson starred in the Lifetime movies “Britney Ever After,” “Perfect High,” “The Pregnancy Project,” “Taken From Me: The Tiffany Rubin Story,” “High Noon,” and “Are you My Mother.” He is a recurring Guest Star in the Disney XD series “Mech-X4,” and has guest-starred in episodes of numerous popular primetime series, including “Proof,” “Backstrom,” “Hell On Wheels,” “Supernatural,” ”R.L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour,” “Arrow,” “The Killing,” “Psych,” “The L Word,” “Reunion,” Stargate-SG-1” and “Smallville,” to name but a few. Benson has appeared in nearly 50 feature films, among them District 9, Blonde and Blonder, Smokin’ Aces 2: Assassin’s Ball, Wingman, The Break-Up Artist, Death Do Us Part, Afterparty and What An Idiot, in which he starred and directed. # # # GILES PANTON (Dex Richmond) – A native of Vancouver, B.C., Panton’s acting studies took him from his hometown to New York and back again, where early on he landed a recurring role as Joe Wylee on SyFy’s “Flash Gordon.” Since then he has had recurring roles on numerous series, including The CW’s “Reign” and “The Tomorrow People,” Hallmark Channel’s “Cedar Cove,” Bravo’s “Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce,” and the web series “Soldiers of the Apocalypse.” Panton has also guest-starred on CBS’ “King & Maxwell,” The CW’s “Smallville” and “Supernatural.” Fox’s “Human Target” and Disney’s “Mr.Young.” He will also be seen in the upcoming ABC straight-to- series drama “Somewhere Between.” His growing passion for acting pushed him into the field of voice work, where he enjoys a notable career. He voices Tarzan in the new Netflix original series “Tarzan and Jane,” and played Commander Keith on Nicktoons Network’s “Voltron Force,” a reboot of the popular animation series.
