A committed group of donors was treated to the wisdom of guest speaker Rabbi Phil Warmflash, who charged us with envisioning what we want for our Jewish community in 2017. With great commitment and vision the evening raised $343,875, accounting for a $50,435 increase from this group’s commitment last year! The trend for small community Annual Campaigns is often downward, and though we have had our share of recent history challenges with significant losses at the top tier of our campaign, we continue to draw strength from the commitment of we see from our community leadership, who are truly making leadership- level gifts to our community. Yet it is truly all of us who make this community a success, and we have just begun. Please reach out to us when we reach out to you on #GivingTuesday on November 28th and join us at our community Campaign event on Saturday, December 2nd when we welcome entertainer Andra London. Remember that every gift helps, and we are not complete until we reach all of you. If you consider yourself in the Young Adult category, please keep the evening of Sunday, January 28th open for “Campaign at Cozzy’s: A night of community and comedy.” You’ll have an opportunity to hear great local talent while supporting your community at the same time.
