What Delta Alums Think you should Know: • Always check to see if the programs you’re applying to has a fee waiver or scholarship for TFA alumni...it can save you a ton if you qualify. • Some programs have advanced tracks for students with Undergraduate Social Work Degrees. • Some programs have specific tracks for students interested in School Social Work. It’s a plus if you know that is the direction you want to go, but it can also be helpful to learn the general social work skills. Over the past few years, I’ve seen tons of improvement in the kids I work with-in and out of school. I’ve been able to collaborate with families to help get the services & support they need. —Kate McCriskin, Delta ‘05 Teach For America: School Counseling Universities in Mississippi University in Arkansas Arkansas State University – School Counseling: Delta State University – School Counseling: Master's Master's Jackson State University – School Counseling: Arkansas Tech University – School Counseling: Master's Master's Mississippi College – School Counseling: Master's Henderson State University – School Counseling: Mississippi State University – School Counseling: Master's Master's; Counselor Education: Ph.D., Ed.D.
