Earlier in their careers, our engineers gained extensive experience in designing a “State of the Art” Solid Waste Handling System within the U.A.E. comprising: • Dirty MRF (Sorting Station) – with automatic and manual segregation, all linked to a central computer control system. 1200TPD. • Transfer Stations – for remote locations to enable bulking and compacting of the waste prior to transporting to the MRF – this saves operational costs and minimises the number vehicles needed to transport the waste. • Clinical Waste Incinerators – To deal with the hazardous waste generated by hospital and clinics such as radioactive isotopes, needles, body parts etc prior to encapsulation. • Fallen Stock Incinerators – To deal with dead stock from farms and road accidents etc. • Crushing Plant – To enable re-use of Construction and Demolition Waste as road sub-bases etc. • Landfill Site – with properly coordinated, lined and monitored cells to ensure our environment is not further polluted. A COMPLETE SOLUTION for MUNICIPAL WASTE 16 November 2008 Page 1 of 1 Section 6 UTILITY INFRASTRUCTURE Experience in utility infrastructure dates back to 1985 and covers all aspects. • Sub Stations • District Cooling Mains • MV and LV Systems • Gravity Mains • Functional Lighting • Pressure Systems • Amenity Lighting • Pumping Stations • Communications • Potable Water • Road Lighting • Irrigation 16 November 2008 Page 1 of 1 Section 7 SPECIALISED ENGINEERING We are one of few who offer experience in the engineering design and execution of: • Swimming Pools and Spa’s ¾ Indoor and Outdoor ¾ Fresh Water or Salt Water • Solid Waste Handling ¾ Material Recovery Facility (Sorting Station) ¾ Transfer Stations ¾ Clinical Waste Incinerators ¾ Fallen Stock Incinerators ¾ Crushing Plants ¾ Hazardous Waste ¾ Landfills • Industrial Facilities • Aquariums • Water Parks • Water Features 09 June 09 Page 1 of 1 Section 8 ARCHITECTURE and STRUCTURES Fittons Engineering Consultancy LLC has a license within the Emirate of Abu Dhabi for “Engineering Consultancy for the General Building” and is at present processing a license for Dubai. Within Abu Dhabi, this permits us to execute any form of building architecture, structure and associated services; we anticipate the Dubai License will be restricted to G+4 initially. Whilst Architectural and Structural designs are available we normally limit these disciplines to support our core Engineering Business. Should a client wish more from Architecture, Structures or Master Planning, then Fittons Engineering Consultancy LLC would partner with suitable local and international companies as necessary to meet the client’s requirements.
