Married BARLOW‐SHARP ‐ Wednesday, 22nd instant, by the Rev. W.B. Ritchie, Thomas, only surviving son of the late P.C. Barlow, of Sopia's Hope, Mahaicony, to Eugenie, widow of the late Henry L. Sharp, of H.M. Customs, Berbice. Died PEMBERTON ‐ Mr. J.J. Pemberton, formerly a Catechist in connection with the Presbyterian Church, and for many years Schoolmaster, died on the 21st, after a lingering illness. He was a devoted and humble follower of the Lord Jesus, and was ever ready to encourage and advise the despondent. He died at the comparatively ripe age of 58. He is deeply regretted by a large circle of friends and acquaintances.
