DAY2: SIEM REAP – Angkor Archeological Park with Temple Sunset (B) 0700 hrs Breakfast at hotel, Angkor Tour – ( SIC USD 65.00 per person NO MEALS / Private USD 85.00) 0800 hrs Tour will begin to see the antique capital of Angkor Thom (12 century): The South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Continue to visit Ta Prohm Temple, one of the area’s most beautiful temples. The temple of Ta Prohm was once used as a location in the famous Hollywood film Tomb Raider. 1200 hrs Transfer for lunch by your own account. 1400 hrs Afternoon, visit to Angkor Wat. Angkor Wat is listed as a World Heritage Site since 1992 because of its workmanships and architecture in ancient time. If time permit you will take a short walk to see Sra Srang Pond which was built in the late 12 centuries for royal bathing. The mountain has been known as the old city of Angkor which beginning in the early 9 centuries. Along the way to Kulen mountain, you will have an opportunity to taste and bring along with you the local organic fresh red banana. Then, on the top of the mountain, you will visit the River of 1000 lingams, which were caved under the Kulen stream. The lingams were representing as filter to fill the stream become the holy stream in order to supply for the local people living at the low land for their agriculture production. 1230 hrs Lunch in local restaurant at a local restaurant. Then head to visit Kulen waterfall. The waterfall is known as one of the popular places among the other cultural site for both domestic and international.
