Senate District 10 Political Facts 1. Tina Benkiser was re-elected Chairman of the Republican Party of Texas and Dr. Robin Armstrong was elected Vice Chairman. 2. Leslie Recine and Jim Borchert, State Republican Executive Committee members, Senate District 10, attended their first State Newsletter Republican Executive Committee meeting after the conclusion of the 2nd Quarter, 2006 State Convention on Saturday, June 3, 2006. 3. At the SREC meeting, the committee members were given the Bylaws of the SREC, and David Thackston from El Paso County was elected the secretary of the SREC. 4. On July 22, 2006 there will be an SREC organizational and training rd meeting. The 3 quarterly meeting will be September 15-16, 2006.
