Two Dojos, One Fight in €˜Cobra Kai’ Season 2 Teaser

Two Dojos, One Fight in ‘Cobra Kai’ Season 2 Teaser 03.08.2019 Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence will face off once again-this time, in the battle of their very own dojos. YouTube Premium released the first look for season two of Cobra Kai, the continuing series of the Karate Kid franchise. The spot shows LaRusso and Lawrence rehashing their original rivalry as LaRusso opens his own dojo that offers free lessons and promises to teach "true karate." Lawrence, who quickly recognizes the stab, challenges his former opponent in an attempt to determine the best karate school. "I know how to beat Cobra Kai," LaRusso says. "I did it 30 years ago and I can do it again." Although William Zabka and Ralph Macchio are reprising their roles as Lawrence and LaRusso, the YouTube Original introduces a new set of young martial artists pulled into the once-personal feud. The trailer shows them practicing karate on the beach and learning its philosophy before facing off in the battle of dojos. The hit series premiered in 2018 on the streaming service, catching up with the characters from the movie 34 years after Lawrence's defeat. Cobra Kai is written and executive produced by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg. Susan Ekins also executive produced, in addition to Will Smith, James Lassiter and Caleeb Pinkett for Overbrook Entertainment in association with Sony Pictures Television Studios. Season two premieres April 24 on YouTube Premium..
