Joshi, Ahmedabad ln accordance with the provisions of Section 87 (3) of the Electricity Act, 2003, the Chairperson, GERC shall be the ex-officio Chairperson of the SAC and Members of the GERC and Secretary to the Government of Gujarat in-charge of the Ministry or Department dealing with Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution System shall be the ex-officio Members of the SRC. The Secretary of the GERC shall be Member Secretary of the SAC. For attending the SAC meeting, eligible members shall be paid honorarium of Rs. 2500/-.ln addition, members staying outside Ahmedabad- Gandhinagar shall be paid conveyance allowance at the rate payable to Grade-l officers of the State Government.
