On 5th May the focus will be particularly on Germany's oldest beef breed ANGUS. It will be a special breeding highlight for all Angus breeders in Germany. Together with our breeders, we would like to demonstrate the breed quality of the Angus cattle, which has grown in recent years, to the regional, national and international audience. Angus is the number 3 of beef cattle breeds in Germany and approximately 15% of all pedigree beef cattle in Germany are Angus. In fact, Angus cattle have represented a very high proportion of total cattle sales and exports for many years now. Furthermore, since 2013, over 50% of all exported pedigree beef cattle from Germany has been Angus cattle. Benefiting from their extreme adaptability and hardiness, easy calving, good character, the excellent beef quality and their economic value, the breed enjoys an excellent reputation among breeders, owners and consumers. The Federal Association of German Angus Keepers (BDAH) is the organizer of the National Show. We are looking forward to introducing you to the best representatives of the German Angus breed with almost 100 Angus animals (bulls, cows and heifers).
