Reading Catholic Community SEVENTH SUNDAY ORDINARY TIME FEBRUARY 24, 2019 Jesus’ words today make it very clear how we are to live as his followers. “Love your enemies” … “do good to those who curse you” ... “pray for those who mistreat you” ... “give to everyone who asks of you (and) don’t demand it back” … “Stop judging” … “Forgive and you will be forgiven.” Jesus doesn’t lighten our responsibility, rather, he restates his teaching emphasizing that the extent to which we are willing to follow/live his words is what will be returned to us. Ask Christ to help you this week to put his words into action in your life. Notice the difference it makes in your relationships.
