AS A SENIOR AT FLORIDA STATE (2021): Averaged 2.4 points, 1.7 rebounds and 0.6 blocked shots as he played in 23 of Florida State’s 25 games in his first season as a Seminole…shot the basketball well as he shot .576 from the field and .895 from the free throw line…helped the Seminoles to an 18-7 overall record and to an 11-4 mark in ACC play…Florida State finished in second place in the regular season ACC standings, advanced to the championship game of the ACC Tournament for the fourth time in school history and to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament for the third consecutive tournament…Florida State defeated four nationally ranked teams in his first season – No. 25 Florida (83-71, Dec. 12), No. 20 Clemson (80-61, Jan 23), No. 7 Virginia (81-60, Feb. 15) and No. 22 Colorado (71-53, March 22)…made his Florida State debut in Florida State’s season-opening victory over North Florida with three points and three rebounds in seven minutes played against the Ospreys (Dec. 2)…his career-high of six points came in Florida State’s 83-71 win over Florida (Dec. 12), its 105-73 victory over NC State (Jan. 13) and its 64-54 win over UNC Greensboro in the NCAA Tournament (March 20)…tied his career-highs with six points and four rebounds in Florida State’s victory over UNC Greensboro in the first round of the 2021 NCAA Tournament at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Ind. Tucker Center (Jan. 23)…at least one blocked shot came in nine different games with his career-high of three blocked shots coming against NC State…totaled five points and two rebounds in Florida State’s 93-64 victory over Boston College on Senior Night in Tallahassee (March 3)…totaled four points, three rebounds and two blocked shots in Florida State’s 80-61 win over Clemson at the Donald L. Tucker Center (Jan. 23)…totaled four points, four rebounds and one blocked shot in Florida State’s 81-60 win over No. 7 Virginia in Tallahassee (Feb. 15)… totaled two rebounds and one blocked shot in Florida State’s 71-53 win over Colorado in the NCAA Tournament at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum in Indianapolis, Ind…the win sent the Seminoles to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament for the third consecutive season (March 22)…earned six minutes of playing time in Florida State’s game against Michigan in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Ind. with one rebounds and one steal (March 28). AT RYERSON UNIVERSITY: Starred for three seasons at Ryerson University in Toronto, Ontario, Canada…as a freshman he averaged 5.8 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game and was named to the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) All-Rookie Team…averaged 11.3 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game as a sophomore…set Ryerson's single-season blocks record with 48 and tied a program record with a field goal percentage of .638…declared himself eligible for the 2019 NBA Draft before returning to school…as a senior he averaged 16.7 points, 11.5 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game…earned All-OUA Second Team honors…grabbed a program-record 23 rebounds to go with 23 points in an 87–82 win over Western on Jan. 11, 2020…in 60 career games at Ryerson, Ngom averaged 10.6 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game while shooting 61 percent from the field…helped the Rams to a 55-15 record during his career there.
