Thank you for the effort parents made in supplying the costumes. The children looked great and had a wonderful day together sharing their love for reading. Some photos are on the last page of this newsletter. On Tuesday 13th March I will be holding a workshop for Year 1 and Reception parents about the Phonics Screening Check. This will be in the school hall and take about 20 minutes starting at 9.00 am. On Tuesday 27th March at 7.30 pm we are holding the parent session regarding the Growth Mindset project being completed in school. The original date was postponed when it snowed. The session will be for no longer than one hour. All parents and carers are welcome to attend. Within the next few newsletters I have been asked to report back on actions that have been addressed since September. You said… Email attachments are variably received, some respondents happy, others prefer communications not to be sent as attachments. We have… The school will be sending all communication via email – this saves on printing costs. However, some letters that require a paper based response from parents will also be sent in hard copy form. There are a lot of email communications, but we hope that in sending information parents feel they are being communicated with regularly and kept up to date on school maters. I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the PTA Quiz Night on Friday 23rd March. There will be a staff table – so don’t worry about the competition – one team has to come last!
