He also graduated with honors from the ABA’s Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Delaware in 1992. He worked in the savings and loan business from 1982 to 1985, when he began working for the Bank of Woodward, in Woodward Oklahoma. He continued there through several mergers. The banks included Bank IV, Boatmen’s Bank, Nation’s Bank, and Bank of America. Mark remained as market president in Woodward Oklahoma through each transition. In 1998 Bank of America sold the Woodward Oklahoma Market to the Central National Bank of Alva Oklahoma. Mark continued as the head of the Woodward Market until 2006. In 2006, Mark acquired ownership and became CFO of Boom Drilling. He also owned J & S Air Drilling. He sold his ownership in April 2008 to a New York Hedge Fund. In 2009, he began working back in the banking business with First National Bank & Trust Company, as EVP and Regional President. He managed four locations throughout Southwest Oklahoma. He was a member of the Bank’s Executive Management Team. Mark began working for BancFirst in November 2015. He was named President of the Lawton Market. Lawton is one of the largest markets for BancFirst a $6.9 billion Oklahoma based Bank. BancFirst serves over 50 communities and has over 100 locations only in Oklahoma. Mark is also involved in the agriculture and energy business with his family in Northwest Oklahoma. He is a member of the Greater Lawton Rotary Club and is Chairman Elect for 2018. He serves on the Board of Directors and is Chairman of the Lawton Fort Sill Chamber of Commerce. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Christian Family Counseling Center of Lawton, Oklahoma. Additionally he has served on the Board of Trustees for Southwestern Medical Center in Lawton, a Regional Care Hospital Partner, Inc. Mark also serves on the Board of Directors for the Lawton Economic Development Corporation. Mark and his wife Sandra of 35 years, live in Lawton, Oklahoma. Mark is a 5th generation Oklahoman. They have two grown and married children, who both have graduated from Oklahoma State University. SENATOR JAMES INHOFE U.S. Senator Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.) is a U.S. Army Veteran. He is the Senior of the U.S. Senate Environment and Public Works Committee and Senior Member of the U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee. He also serves on the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce Science, & Transportation and the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business & Entrepreneurship. An avid pilot with over 11,000 flight hours, Inhofe became the only member of Congress to fly an airplane around the world when he recreated Wiley Post's legendary trip around the globe.
