If you suspect a tree is in poor health contact Public Works at 519-832-2008 x130 for an inspection. Private trees interfering with infrastructure may be trimmed or removed by the Town. Emerald Ash Borer is still a concern in our area, do not transport firewood! Do not cut or trim a tree within the right of way of roads, trails, parks or the beach. Trees provide many benefits such as cooler temperatures, protection from erosion and habitat for animals. Help care for trees, water newly planted trees once a week with 10 to 15 litres of water, whether you planted it or the Town. There are no restrictions on watering trees.
