IRAQ UNITED NATIONS SITUATION REPORT 5-11 July 2004 OVERVIEW The United Nations (UN) Iraq programme has undergone an internal review. The return of international UN staff into Iraq - in large numbers, is not forecast in the near future. UN agencies, their Iraqi staff, and their non- governmental organisation (NGO) partners in Iraq, will continue to refine and enhance programme implementation and oversight, in the main, from neighbouring States.
