OREGON GOOD SAM SINGLE DECK TEAM PINOCHLE TOURNAMENT ORDER OF PLAY Each table will play only two(2) hands. At the end of each hand, each TEAM records their score on their TEAM score sheet. At the end of two(2) hands each TEAM records the total of their score for the table they are playing at (Table #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6…..). After two(2) hands have been played, the WINNING TEAM will stay at the same table. The LOSING TEAM will move to the next table number. (Example: Losers at table #1 will move to table #2, and so on…) PLAYING RULES 1. Cards will be dealt clockwise, three(3) at a time. 2. Choose one person to deal the first hand. Second hand will be dealt by opposing team. 3. Cards will be shuffled by automatic shuffler two(2) times. 4. After the cards have been shuffled, the deck will be cut by the player on the dealers right. 5. Bidding starts at 250. 6. No throwing in hands. 7. Must play all hands so opponents can score their points. 8. If no bid, dealer is required to take the bid at 250. 9. If bid is not made, the amount of bid is added to the opponents score and the bidders score is zero(0). 10. Must follow suit and play a higher card if possible, or must play trump. 11. Must take a trick to save meld. 12. No Shooting of the Moon. 13. Pass four(4) cards. 14. A challenge on an incorrect play will be made as soon as discovered. The offending team will forfeit all meld and points taken that hand. SCORING 24 points (A, 10, K) plus one(1) for last trick per hand. MELD NOTES: 1 ACE of each suit 100 points LEAVE YOUR PENCILS 1 KING of each suit 80 points ON THE TABLE SO THE 1 QUEEN of each suit 60 points NEXT PLAYER AT THAT 1 JACK of each suit 40 points TABLE WILL HAVE A 9 of TRUMP 10 points PENCIL. 8 ACES 1000 points 8 KINGS 800 points 8 QUEENS 600 points THERE ARE TWO(2) 8 JACKS 400 points CARD SHUFFLERS KING and QUEEN of each suit (Round Robin) 240 points AVAILABLE.
