Each Federation shall submit its Intention to Enter to the Chairman of the relevant IWWF World Council or Regional Council, the Chief Calculator and the Organizer. The Intention to Enter must be submitted not later than 60 days before the scheduled start of the first event of the Championships Any Federation not meeting this requirement will not be allowed to compete until they pay a fine of €250 to the IWWF. For each participant entered on the Intention to Enter form, the Federation must pay a deposit of $50/€50 to the Organizer - this payment is non-refundable Entry Forms Deadline for official Entry Forms is July 24th 2020. Any Federation not meeting this requirement will not be allowed to compete until the Federation pays a fine of 10€ per rider per day to the IWWF for each rider not officially entered on time. Approximate size should be 75 x 110 cm. It’s recommended to send your National Anthem to Organizer to [email protected] in advance. Official Familiarization In order to provide a fair system where all riders have the same chance of familiarization with the course and the boat of the event, the familiarization is official and an integral part of the event. Riders, through Federations, are encouraged to book their official familiarization slots according to the event bulletin as soon as possible, in order to assure the schedule that fits them most. Time slots will be given on a first paid, first served basis, meaning that when a Federation reserves a slot, it will still be free until it is paid. Only paid slots are then considered booked and reserved. Only one time slot will be available per rider, at a time that is suitable to them. Time slots are of 10 minutes, which mean 2 full passes on the course or 3 falls, whichever occurs first. Official Familiarization will open for booking 15 days following the deadline for the intention to enter forms. The Federation books the time slots necessary for their team and individual riders. Once reserved, there won’t be any chance of changing the designated time slots given to the Federation. Riders must be ready on the dock the exact same way as for the competition. Failure to be ready on the dock when the time slot starts will mean losing the chance of familiarizing with the course and boat. There will be a Jetty Marshall handling the training, making sure the schedule is respected. No refund of payments or reallocation of schedule will be permitted due to lack of readiness from any rider. Its actions in this area are numerous: annual first aid training for all supervisors, training in the risks of practicing and securing volunteers, safety rules and pilot charter, rescue equipment including defibrillator, hard plan, first aid kits, VHF radio in each boat, CE vests renewed every year… During the event Red cross team A team of 5 people from the Pont-Audemer Red Cross will be present from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day. Its installation provides for a tented aid station and 2 emergency vehicles allowing, if necessary, to maintain a presence on the site, in the event of the evacuation of a first person.
