Section I of the report describes the Committee’s legislative activities, divided into seven sections as follows: Legislative Review of Tax Issues; Legislative Review of Trade Issues; Legislative Re- view of Health Issues; Legislative Review of Human Resources Issues; Legislative Review of Social Security Issues; Legislative Re- view of Oversight Issues; and Legislative Review of Multi-Jurisdic- tional Issues. Section II of the report describes the Committee’s oversight ac- tivities. It includes a copy of the Committee’s Oversight Agenda, adopted on February 14, 2017, along with a description of actions taken and recommendations made with respect to the oversight plan. The report then discusses additional Committee oversight ac- tivities, and any recommendations or actions taken as a result. Finally, the report includes three appendices with Committee in- formation. Appendix I is an expanded discussion of the Jurisdiction of the Committee on Ways and Means along with a revised listing and explanation of blue slip resolutions and points of order under House Rule XXI 5(a). Appendix II is a Statistical Review of the Ac- tivities of the Committee on Ways and Means. Appendix III is a listing of the Chairmen and membership of the Committee from the 1st through 115th Congress.
