PREFACE This publication makes an attempt to satisfy demand for statistical data on the Local Government/Local Council Development Areas of the State. This edition features data on ten (10) key Sectors of development comprising Demography, Manpower, Education, Health, Economic, Housing and Community Amenities, Social Protection, Environmental Protection, Recreation, Religion and Culture, Public Order and Safety. The data are provided for two (2) consecutive years spanning 2010 and 2011, covering all the Twenty (20) Local Government and Thirty seven (37) Local Council Development Areas in the State to facilitate comparison among the Local Government/Local Council Development Areas. The publication would be found useful by Researchers, Students, Planners, Policy Makers and all those who are interested in Local Government Statistics.
