TUESDAY 6TH APRIL 2021 A quieter Tuesday following the Easter Bank Holiday Top headage price of £1366.70 for a 865kg Friesian cow weekend, but an excellent trade was seen in the sheep from N D Gibbs, with other Holsteins to £1258 and £1221 shed, with a seasonal entry forward, spring lambs sold with Angus cows to £1178.60. up to 420p/kg and hogget’s to 353p/kg. A fast trade for cull sheep with the entry averaging over £100/head. CLEAN CATTLE; Selling time – 10:45am approx. A strong trade again for barren cattle with top prices Auctioneer – Graham Watkins (07976 370894) of 166p/kg for an Angus cow with black & white’s to A small entry topped at 200p/kg for a 665kg British Blue 158p/kg, and clean cattle to 200p/kg. from RG & AS Williamson, Wetley Rocks to gross £1330.
