RICHARDSON FOUNDATION ABOUT US JFRF has tackled issues impacting older adults living in poverty for more than 17 years. But, we haven't done it alone. JFRF works with community partners to build their capacity and create sustainable solutions that improve every day life for low income older adults, preserving dignity and encouraging independence. BY 2030, THE NUMBER OF OREGONIANS 65+ IS PROJECTED TO SWELL TO OVER 1,000,000. OLDER ADULTS WILL THEN COMPOSE 23% OF OREGON’S POPULATION UP FROM 14% IN 2010. DRIVING CHANGE BY ENGAGING THE PEOPLE WHO KNOW THEIR COMMUNITIES BEST OUR MODEL IS ONE OF COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT We bring our expertise in aging to empower local communities to address challenges in serving low income older adults. This collaborative method strengthens existing supports and resources through a continuous process of analysis and alignment, long and short term planning, & implementation, evaluation and additional resource development. THE KEY TO SUCCESSFUL IMPLEMENTATION ARE LOCAL CHAMPIONS WHO DRIVE COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT, IDENTIFY ISSUES AND HELP TO CREATE SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS IMPROVING LIVES OF OLDER ADULTS IN OREGON AND BEYOND OUR PROGRAMS Ties That Bind - Provides tools, training and mentoring to support the dramatic increase of Grandparents raising their Grandchildren across Oregon. Affordable Housing and Services for Older Adults - An innovative approach to develop a sustainable, replicable model of affordable housing with supportive health- related and social service for low income older adults in rural communities. JFRF is leading the conversation about aging in Oregon. By shining a light on the ways society needs to restructure the delivery and availability of services for older adults, we hope to help achieve and maintain security and opportunities for this rapidly increasing population. An example of this leadership is our whitepaper about the changing age structure in Oregon. OUR GOAL IS TO HELP BRIDGE THE GAP FOR OLDER ADULTS, FAMILIES AND COMMUNITIES AS WE SUPPORT STRATEGIES TO ADDRESS THE CHANGING FACE OF AGING IN OREGON AND BEYOND JOIN THE CELEBRATION THURSDAY, APRIL 25, 2019 11:30AM—1:00PM MULTNOMAH ATHLETIC CLUB PORTLAND, OREGON For more information, contact Stephanie Hooper, President [email protected] 503.348.3633 Sponsor Information (please print or type) Name Contact & Title Billing address City, State, Zip Code Phone 1 | Phone 2 Email Sponsorship Levels _____ Yes, we plan to fill our table and will Aging Advocate - $25,000 provide our list by April 5, 2019 Innovation Champion - $15,000 f Partnership Champion - $10,000 _____ Please fill our table with other luncheon guests Founder’s Circle - $5,000 Third Age Leader - $2,500 Proud Supporter - $1,000 Payment Information We plan to make this contribution in the form of: ☐check payable to JFRF ☐please send invoice Credit Card Number Exp.
