PRESS RELEASE Borken, 13 October 2020 Rehms Group, advised by GÖRG in insolvency proceedings, sells core business to Salvia Group The Rehms Group, which was advised by GÖRG in the insolvency proceedings, has sold its core business to the Salvia Group from Eislingen/Fils: The business operations of Rehms Building Technology, J. Rehms GmbH and the planning office TePmA GmbH as well as the shares of Rehms Service GmbH were taken over. The company, which operates in the field of technical building equipment, had only filed an application with the relevant Münster district court in July for the opening of insolvency proceedings under its own administration due to insolvency. The experienced GÖRG reorganization experts Nils Meißner and Dr. Mike Westkamp were appointed to the management of Rehms Building Technology GmbH for support. Dr. Michael Schaumann was also on hand in an advisory capacity. With the takeover by the Salvia Group, both the Borken site in the Münsterland region and the jobs of all employees could now be maintained. "Operationally, the core business of Rehms Building Technology was and is well positioned", said GÖRG-Partner Meißner. "One of the reasons why we were able to secure the jobs of around 550 employees at the Borken and Essen locations within three months in our own administration".
