G.N. 1069 TOWN PLANNING ORDINANCE (Chapter 131

G.N. 1069 TOWN PLANNING ORDINANCE (Chapter 131) AMENDMENTS TO THE DRAFT NAM SANG WAI OUTLINE ZONING PLAN NO. S/YL-NSW/5 Pursuant to section 7(1) of the Town Planning Ordinance (the Ordinance), the Town Planning Board has made amendments to the draft Outline Zoning Plan for the Nam Sang Wai area. The amendments are set out in the Schedule of Amendments. The descriptions of the areas affected by the amendments in the Schedule of Amendments are for general reference only. The exact locations of the areas affected by the amendments are more specifically shown on draft Nam Sang Wai Outline Zoning Plan No. S/YL-NSW/6. Pursuant to section 7(2) of the Ordinance, the amendments are available for public inspection for a period of three weeks from the date of the first publication of this notice, that is until 1 April 2005, during normal office hours at the following locations:— (i) the Secretariat of the Town Planning Board, 15th Floor, North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point, Hong Kong; (ii) the Tuen Mun and Yuen Long District Planning Office, 14th Floor, Sha Tin Government Offices, 1 Sheung Wo Che Road, Sha Tin, New Territories; (iii) the Yuen Long District Office, Yuen Long District Office Building, 269 Castle Peak Road, Yuen Long, New Territories; (iv) the San Tin Rural Committee, 7 Main Road, San Tin, Yuen Long, New Territories; (v) the Shap Pat Heung Rural Committee, Main Road—Yuen Long, New Territories; (vi) the Kam Tin Rural Committee, Kam Tin Road, Kam Tin, New Territories; and (vii) the Ping Shan District Rural Committee, 139–147 On Ning Road, Yuen Long, New Territories. In accordance with section 7(4) of the Ordinance, any person affected by the amendments so exhibited may object within the said period of three weeks by sending to the Town Planning Board a written statement of his objection to the amendment(s) and address it to the Secretary, Town Planning Board, 15th Floor, North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point, Hong Kong. A person may only object to the amendments. In accordance with section 6(2) of the Ordinance, a written statement of objection shall set out:— (a) the nature of and reasons for the objection; and (b) if the objection would be removed by an alteration of the draft plan, any alteration proposed. Copies of the draft Nam Sang Wai Outline Zoning Plan No. S/YL-NSW/6 incorporating the amendments are available on payment of a fee at the Survey and Mapping Office, Map Publications Centre (Hong Kong), 23rd Floor, North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point, Hong Kong, and the Survey and Mapping Office, Map Publications Centre (Kowloon), Ground Floor, 382 Nathan Road, Kowloon. The electronic version of the plan is viewable from the Town Planning Board’s website (http://www.info.gov.hk/tpb). SCHEUDLE OF AMENDMENTS TO THE DRAFT NAM SANG WAI OUTLINE ZONING PLAN NO. S/YL-NSW/5 MADE BY THE TOWN PLANNING BOARD UNDER THE TOWN PLANNING ORDINANCE (Chapter 131) Amendments pursuant to section 7 Amendments to Matters Shown on the Plan Item A1 — Rezoning of a strip of land northwest of Kam Pok Road from ‘Other Specified Uses’ annotated ‘Comprehensive Development to include Wetland Restoration Area’ to area shown as ‘Drainage Channel’. Item A2 — Rezoning of a strip of land northwest of Pok Wai South Road from ‘Conservation Area’ to area shown as ‘Drainage Channel’.
