She is compared to Sarah Vaughan, Betty Carter and Dianne Reeves, singing ballad standards, cabaret music, Scat singing, and the blues. 9:30p Scotty Barnhart / HEADLINER Scotty Barnhart is an acclaimed jazz trumpeter, leader, composer, arranger, educator, author and Director of the legendary Count Basie Orchestra. Scotty is a Two-time GRAMMY-Award winner, has three critically acclaimed recordings by pianist Marcus Roberts and over ten recordings with the likes of Tony Bennett, Diana Krall, Ray Charles, and Tito Puente. Scotty also released a CD 'Say It Plain' featuring Clark Terry, Ellis and Wynton Marsalis, Marcus Roberts and Etienne Charles.
