King's Lynn and West Norfolk District Personal Details: Name: Mike Baldock E-mail: Postcode: Organisation Name: Comment text: The proposed new Bircham with Rudhams ward has the effect of severing the Birchams (Great Bircham, Bircham Newton, Bircham Tofts) from Docking, when it is Docking where all the facilities used by Bircham residents are located (e.g. post office, school, surgery, recycling centre). Thus the residents of the Birchams will have less influence over their amenities under these proposals. The Birchams should remain within the same ward as Docking. Kings Lynn should be in Cambridgeshire not Norfolk. We are better connected to Cambridge than Norwich and have a PE postcode!! Dear sir / madam, Thank you for emailing me your draft proposals for future arrangements of the borough’s election Ward boundaries for King’s Lynn & West Norfolk. Having perused through the report and your recommendations , I would consider it to be well balanced and hopefully a workable solution for the proposed future reductions of elected members to be able to accommodate the borough’s electorate. Regards, Terry Hipsey.
