IOWA WILD REPORT PROSPECT REPORT NOVEMBER 23, 2016 The Iowa Wild went 2-2-0 in four games last week. The Wild fell in its IOWA WILD WEEK AHEAD first contest, 3-1 against the IceHogs on Wednesday at Wells Fargo Arena DATE OPPONENT LOCATION* TIME (11/16). F Teemu Pulkkinen scored the lone goal for Iowa with assists Wed., Nov. 23 Manitoba MTS Centre 7:00 p.m. from forwards Pat Cannone and Zach Palmquist. G Steve Michalek Fri., Nov. 26 Charlotte Bojangles Arena 5:00 p.m. made 31 saves. Iowa won its second contest of the week, 3-2 vs. Chicago Sat., Nov. 27 Charlotte Bojangles Arena 12:00 p.m. on Friday in Des Moines (11/18). F Alex Tuch led the Wild with two goals while F Jeff Hoggan also netted a goal. G Alex Stalock earned the win, stopping 20 of-22 shots. The Wild suffered a 5-0 shutout loss against the Wolves at Allstate Arena on Saturday (11/19). Michalek made 17 saves in the loss. Iowa won its fourth contest of the week with a 1-0 overtime shutout victory against Manitoba on Tuesday at MTS Centre (11/22). Pulkkinen netted the game-winning goal with assists from D Gustav Olofsson and F Jordan Schroeder. Stalock recorded his first shutout of the season, stopping all 28 shots faced. Schroeder leads the Wild with 11 points (4-7=11) in 15 games this season. Tuch (4-6=10) and Olofsson (2-8=10) are tied for second with 10 points each. Tuch ranks T-10th amongst AHL rookies in scoring and T-13th in goals and assists. Pulkkinen ranks fourth with nine points (4-5=9) in 10 contests. Michalek is 4-5-1 with a 3.28 GAA and a .912 SV% in 12 games and ranks T-4th in the league in games played. Stalock is 3-5-0 with a 3.47 GAA, a .889 SV% and one shutout in nine games. Iowa continues its seven-game road trip visiting Manitoba on Wednesday (11/23) and Charlotte on Saturday and Sunday (11/26 & 11/27).
