TEXAS JUVENILE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT 4 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY The Texas Juvenile Justice Department (TJJD) was created Collaboration and teamwork that builds on December 1, 2011, combining the functions of the Texas partnerships with youth, families and local Youth Commission (TYC) and the Texas Juvenile communities; and Probation Commission (TJPC).
