We are blessed to be able to gather in person at CalvaryPHX as well as via live stream at Greenlaw Baptist Church in Flagstaff, Stone Ridge Church in Yuma, and Mountain View Baptist in Tucson for this year’s meeting . We want to thank Pastors Mark Martin, Michael Grigsby, Tom Burke, Bret Burnett, and the fantastic people of their con- gregations for opening their hearts and their campuses to us and for showing such great hospitality . Hosting the Annual Convention takes a huge team effort, so please make sure you take a moment and thank any of the host churches’ team members you run into and let them know how much we appreciate their service . This year’s Convention theme is “Above and Beyond .” In Ephesians 3:20 Paul reminds us that our God is “able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us.” What an amazing promise that is! As the 462 churches of our convention work together to make disciples of all peoples in Arizona and around the world, we are encouraged by knowing that we are not depending on our power alone . Our God is at work and is able to do more than any of us can imagine . I pray that moves you like it has me to greater prayer and greater cooperation with each other . I hope that you are equipped and inspired by this year’s Convention, the speakers, the reports, the fellowship, and the worship . I thank you for the privilege of allow- ing me to serve you these past two years and look forward to what God is going to do in and through us in the days and years ahead!
