Battleiirt/e HonoursHonours——"Te"Taku Forts" 1888-1918 —" Pekin "—" Lucknow " Royal Army Service Corps, 1918 NO. 6. VOL. LXIX. PRICE SIXPENCE JULY, 1945 EDITORIAL DEMOBILIZATION AND THE "JOURNAL" INCE the pocket edition of the JOURNAL came into being last September the circulation has steadily risen. But with units moving about or being dis- . Sbanded, and with the demobilization of the early groups, distribution becomes more and more difficult. At the moment only a little over 1 per cent, of the Corps are subscribers, to whom the JOURNAL is sent direct. I would like to build this up to 5 per cent, of those now serving before the year ends. There is nothing regional about this Corps of ours. Our members come from , every part of the country. Yet nowhere in the Army is better comradeship to be" found. Such comradeship must be fostered, and I believe the JOURNAL can play its part . but only if men as they leave become subscribers. WHY NOT HAVE YOUR " JOURNAL " SENT DIRECT? .••* Send a P.O. or cheque for ten or twenty sixpences—or what you will—to *>The Editor, R.A.S.C. JOURNAL, Buller Barracks, Aldershot, asking for the next i ten or twenty copies of the JOURNAL to be sent to you at your home address. *Easy, isn't it? Please do it now. t Certain censorship relaxations make it possible at last to publish some of $pse " histories of R.A.S.C. companies " that I am afraid you have accused me W putting on one side. I propose to include two or three company stories in edch -, •ssue in the near future. So will all you Company Commanders please help me |y persuading someone who writes fairly cheerfully to send me the story of "Vpur company in 1,000 to 1,500 words (three copies, please), with photographs available? ,•<;[••> : I • ' C.
