The numbe r of vital events in Rizal for reached a total of 6,807 registered documents. This represents 1.05 % decrease from th e 6,879 registered vital events from the previous month. The province generated the following statistics: 4,616 for birth, 946 for marriage and 1,245 for death. Table A. BIRTH STATISTICS Timely Live Births by Municipality and By Sex Province of Rizal recorded a total of 2,692 timely registered births for the month of April 2019. City of Municipality Male Female Total Antipolo has the highest contribution of live births with 842, ANGONO 61 59 120 followed by Taytay with 369 and ANTIPOLO 442 400 842 Montalban with 298. Municipality of BARAS 3 5 8 Baras have the least contribution, with 8 live births (see Table B). While Tanay had 5 recorded births that were attended by physician, 23.33% of the total births in the province were attended by midwives. More than forty percent (1141 or 42.38%) of babies born in Rizal were legitimates. Municipality of Cardona posted the highest legitimacy percentage with 32 or 62.75 percent of the total legitimate children in the municipality level. (see Figure II). Figure II. Modal age group for mothers was at 25 to 29 with 830 occurrences (30.83%). Teenage mothers (19 and below) listed 199 births or 7.39 percent. While the non- fertile age group (45 over) showed fertility performance at 8 recorded live births or 0.30 percent. Timely Registered Marriages by Municipality Rizal, April 2019 The municipality that has the highest number of timely marriages was recorded in Antipolo with 334 Municipality Number of registered documents, followed by Marriages Taytay with 128 and Cainta, with 84 ANGONO 34 marriages. ANTIPOLO 334 BARAS 19 The city of Antipolo has the BINANGONAN 51 highest number of Catholic CAINTA 84 marriages in the province with 70 instances, 198 on Civil Ceremonies CARDONA 7 and 66 on the other religious rites. JALAJALA 7 RODRIGUEZ 49 There are 6 widows and 2 MORONG 36 divorced on bride’s civil status. PILILLA 22 While 8 widowers and 5 divorced SAN MATEO 46 are recorded on the grooms. The province also generated a total of 1239 timely registered deaths for the month of April. Antipolo was on the top Table H.
